From One Trucker to Another
Rain sheets across the windshield. Snow blows sideways in your headlights. Ice hides under a thin layer of wet. Weather doesn't care about your ETA. A professional driver reads the road, reads the sky, and reads his own gut — and knows when to back off the throttle.
On the Road
Slow down before you have to. Double your following distance. If it gets bad enough that your hands are locked on the wheel, find the next exit and shut it down. No load beats black ice.
Prayer
Lord, hold this truck steady in the storm. Give me eyes to see the road and the wisdom to stop when I need to. Amen.
