From One Trucker to Another
Every trucker needs a prayer he can pray without thinking. One that fits in the seconds between merging and settling in. This is one of those prayers. Learn it. Say it before every trip. God hears the short ones just as loud as the long ones.
On the Road
Say it out loud when you buckle in. Say it again when you pull out of the yard. Say it a third time when you get where you're going. Prayer is a habit — build it.
Prayer
Lord, hold this truck in Your hand. Keep me safe, keep the drivers around me safe, keep my family safe until I get home. In Jesus' name, amen.
