From One Trucker to Another
The dash lights up. The truck loses power. You limp to the shoulder and sit there listening to the traffic go by. Every trucker has been here. It doesn't mean you failed. It means it's a machine, and machines break.
On the Road
Triangles out. Hazards on. Call it in. Then take a breath before you take the next step. Rushing a repair leads to a second breakdown.
Prayer
Lord, calm me right now. Send help. Keep me safe on this shoulder. Amen.
