You showed up on time. They made you wait six hours. Nobody apologized. Nobody offered a bathroom or a place to sit. This part of the job wears men down. It has nothing to do with driving and everything to do with being treated like a number.
On the Road
Be the professional they aren't. 'Yes ma'am, no sir, thank you.' You are representing every driver who comes in behind you. And you are representing Christ, whether they know it or not.
Prayer
Father, help me keep my dignity when nobody else is offering it. Let me work for You today, not for them. Amen.
